Olive Ancell of OliveJuices.Inc is a self-taught artist based in Northern Colorado.
The main motif of her work is the creative expression of the human condition, utilizing an abstract illustrative approach to communicate the complexities of human emotion. Accessibility is a key factor in Ancell’s art, taking an approach that does not cater to the capitalistic structure the art world has been built around. She views art as a right, and not something just to be commodified.

Ancell’s mediums vary across the 2D, utilizing a multimedia approach in many of her pieces. Recycling and reusing materials are also a key consideration in her process. She has participated in a variety of local art markets, collective shows, and collaborative projects mainly in the Fort Collins area.
